Masters
Masters athletes are those athletes who are 35 years and older.
Those athletes 55 years and older are listed as 55+
In addition to keeping fit and enjoying the sport of athletics, one of their major goals is to train to compete in the Canadian Masters Championships, the BC Masters Championships and in the BC 55+ Games
In addition many run in the various Road Races and Cross Country runs ending with the BC Open Cross Country Championships and the Canadian Cross Country Championships both held in the late fall.
Peninsula Track welcomes both Masters and Seniors. Currently, Peninsula Track has 10 or more masters and seniors (including two in their seventies and one in his eighties) who train on Saturday morning during the spring and summer months.
