HI EVERYONE. SORRY FOR THE WEB SITE BEING OUT OF COMMISSION FOR THE PAST FEW WEEKS BUT WE FINALLY HAD TO TRANSFER IT TO A NEW SERVER.

Most of it is all right but I am still tidying it up.

Practices

JD Practices , Monday - 5.00 to 6:00 pm at

The Barn on the Saanichton Fairgrounds

Starting on March 15 the Practices will be at Blue Heron Track (Parkland School)

What we do

Peninsula Track & Field Club provides an opportunity for athletes from the Saanich Peninsula to participate in the sports of track and field and cross country running.

The club’s emphasis is on personal development by athletes at all levels of ability. We encourage participation in club activities by athletes of all ages, 6 years and older

We offer coaching in all areas of track and field except for pole vault and steeplechase

PROJECT TRACK 21

REPLACING THE PARKLAND TRACK.

Peninsula Track has started a drive to replace the track with an up-to-date out door sports facility to serve the Saanich Peninsula.

Tom and Florence Dingle and Dan Daniels represented Peninsula Track at the AGM. Details

Nov. 01: BCJD Awards Ceremony - Vancouver

Three athletes were given BC Athletics Junior Development Awards for outstanding achievement during 2009 at this ceremony. Kira Szczawinski, F00, in the sprint, and jumps categories; Max Szczawinski, M98, in the throws category and Jacqueline Gaby, F97, in the race walk. Full details and Photos.

Oct 31: BC Cross Country Championships - Jericho Park, Vancouver

Peninsula runner, Emma Mylie, came 3rd in her age group out of a field of 20. Full Results.

Oct 18: Peninsula Cross Country Challenge - Centennial Park, Central Saanich

A beautiful day for cross country running with the leaves drifting down among the tall trees. Results and a few Photos

Over a hundred athletes, parents and others gathered on a beautiful day to eat corn, hot dogs and hamburgers and to watch the presentation of awards to our athletes. Details of Awards . Photos will be posted later.
