Welcome
Peninsula Track and Field Club is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization that provides an opportunity for athletes from Vancouver Island's Saanich Peninsula to participate in the sports of track and field and cross country running. The club’s emphasis is on personal development for athletes at all levels of ability, starting at 6 years of age.
COVID-19 Update
PTFC Board Members met on June 20, 2020 and agreed to sign off on the BC Athletics Return to Training Addendum and the Athletics Canada Back on Track Guidelines. These guidelines will assist the club in offering a safe training environment, which meets the guidelines of provincial health authorities. They also impose restrictions and requirements that must be in place in order for BC Athletics insurance coverage and COVID-19 waivers to apply.
For more information, please see our COVID-19 Action Plan.
At this time, we are only offering training for Masters athletes. Many of these are long-time members of PTFC, and most of them are in vulnerable age categories looking for a safe place to train.

Important Note
The club executive has decided to cancel the Track Rascals, Junior Development, Midget and Youth track and field programs for 2020. We will be refunding registration fees for all athletes that have recently registered for the spring Track and Field programs, but who have not yet done any training or competitions through the club. Our registrar will be in touch with each of you to make arrangements.
Cross country training has been put on hold, and hopefully it can resume later in the year.
The impact of COVID-19 on our world is unprecedented. Our thoughts are with you and your families during this time, and hopefully we will see you out next year.
