Awards:

A certificate of achievement is given to each athlete who participates in at least one Club Team Relay during the season.

Points are assigned to each athlete for each relay run depending on the performance, placing and participation in the relay.  This point scheme is similar to that used for the individual events in the Island Track and Field Series.

A total for all relays for each athlete is calculated and this total is used to determine the class and the type of certificate.

Blue Class

4 or more Relays Run

Red Class

3 Relays Run

White Class

2 Relays Run

Black Class

1 Relay Run

Class and Overall Placing listed on the certificate depends on Total Points.

I have tried to correct any errors or omissions but some my have got by me, particularly those involving the names of athletes.  Please direct any queries or corrections to me and if possible I can run off another certificate.

Many thanks to Brian Foan who correlated the results and sent them to me.  Full details are posted on the Pen Track Website ( www.pentrack.org ) under Track and Field
