Location: Gordon Park Track, 3960 Selkirk. When you come off the ferry, turn right onto Marine Ave. and travel south until you reach Nootka St. (Malaspina College Sign)
Then turn left onto Nootka. Follow all the way up to the track.
Times: April 17- Coaches meeting @ 8:30

Type of Meet & Fees: This is a STICKER MEET; all clubs should bring their own stickers. Please have a sticker for each event, with athletes name, birth yr. and club. Clubs should complete and present the attached sheet with cheque payable to PRTFC.
Fees: One day $8.00
Two days $11.00
This is a VIAA series meet, officiating assignments have been set.
Awards: Ribbons will be awarded for 1st - 6th place.
Events: Track events will be run OLDEST-YOUNGEST. Field events will be limited to 3 attempts, except midget & Open classes, where the top 8 will get another 3 attempts
Some categories of athletes may be combined for competition purposes, but awards shall be given out based on age and categories.
Concession: There will be a concession on site, run by the PRTFC.

It is recommended that you book your rooms ASAP, there have been blocks of rooms set aside at the places listed; please let them know that you are here for the Track Meet.
There are many restaurants available in Powell River, from the standby Subway, McDonalds, A&W etc. to fine dining at places such as the Shingle Mill, The Laughing Oyster, and Whooters. All of these, with the exception of the Laughing Oyster, are a short 5-15 minute drive from all the accommodations listed above. Both the Town Centre and Inn at Westview have dining facilities. There is a Safeway and Overwaitea located close to each other in local malls, as well as several corner stores.
Please note that the first ferry to Powell River leaves Little River, (Comox) at 6:30am and arrives Powell River about 7:45 am, the next ferry does not leave Comox until 10:10 am. It is suggested that the more distant clubs consider coming over Friday night. The meet is structured so that it can be completed on Sunday in time for all to depart on the 5:00pm ferry from Powell River to Comox.
