TIME:                          Saturday,
10:30 AM to 5 PM

                                    Sunday, 8:30 AM to 3 PM

 

LOCATION:              395 Wakesiah Avenue, Nanaimo

 

PARKING:                 Off Third Street by the Nanaimo Aquatic Centre and Serauxman Stadium 

AGES:                         Athletes born in 1998 and older

 

REGISTRATION:      Saturday 10:30    Sunday 8:30

                                    Clubs and individuals.  Cheques payable to Nanaimo Track and Field Club

 

STICKERS ARE MANDATORY!  Please have sticker for each event with the athlete’s name, year of birth and club name.  Thanks!

 

All Athletes must be competitive members of BC Athletics (club, school or individual) for the year 2007

 

ENTRY FEES:             $12 for one day; $17 for 2 days, per athlete.  Non members of BC Athletics add $3 for day of event membership ($15 and $20)


Athletes may enter as many events as they wish.

OFFICIALS:              This is a Vancouver Island Series meet and is sanctioned by BC Athletics. 
                                   Club officiating assignments have already been set. 

                                   If a club has difficulty meeting their assignment, or will not be in            

                                   attendance please contact the  meet director
                                  

 

 

 

                                   

 

EVENTS:                  Track events will be run oldest to youngest, girls then boys.

                                  Wheelchair events will be held first in the track events.

 

                                  Electronic Timing.      All timed finals.

 

                                  Field events:  Three attempts only for 9-13 age groups.  For midget and      

                                  older, the top eight competitors will get an additional three attempts.

                                

                           

AWARDS:                Ribbons are awarded for 1st to 8th place in all events in each

                                 category.  The categories are boys and girls born in 1998, 1997, 1996,

                                 1995, 1994, 1993 and 1992; 1991 & 1990 (juveniles), 1989 & 1988

                                 (juniors); men and women born from 1973 to 1987 (open) and 1972 and

                                 earlier (masters).

 
FACILITIES:               Change rooms, showers and washrooms will be open.   NTFC will be

operate a concession.
