Results for Pen Track Athletes

There were 300 different athletes competing over the two days for an average of 4.3 events per athlete.

Final Corrected Version of Results

ALL results have been checked carefully against the result sheets coming in from the track and field. In one case against the photos in the electronic timing database.

There were a few errors that were typing errors and these have been corrected. This may have lead to a reversal of two placings in a few cases.

The 60m races for the 11 year old girls had the same times inadvertantly entered for two heats and correction of this lead to a significant change in the placings.

In the 60m hurdles race for 11 year old girls the results are based on the hand timing figures. In one heat there was a spurious set of times from the electronic timing system. Again this lead to a significant change in the placings

2010 VIAA CLUB OFFICIATING ASSIGNMENTS As discussed at the VIAA meeting in February each club has been assigned certain officiating duties.  It was decided that each club would have available at ALL times a person to run their event plus at least two volunteers from their club to help.  Extra bodies if needed can be pulled in from the spectators. Please make sure that your officiating crew is in place in advance of the event.  If for some reason or other your club cannot fulfill its officiating duties at a meet, please let host club know ASAP so they can make alternate arrangements.
