Pen Track Coach and Athlete Dan Daniels won the Bronze Medal in the Pentathlon in the M 75-79 age category at the

1st World Masters Championships Indoors, Sindelfingen, Germany

March 10 - 14, 2004.

Dan has coached with Pen Track for the past twelve years helping many of our young athletes to compete successfully at Provincial and National Meets. 2004 is the fourth year that he has conducted Pen Track's very successful Track Rascals Program for 6 to 8 year olds.

As well as coaching he continues to compete in Track and Field.
In recent years he has been a competing athlete at the BC Seniors Games, the 2003 World Masters Championships in Puerto Rico and the 2004 World Masters Indoor Championships in Germany.


He is currently Vice Chair of Athletics Canada and serves on the Masters Committee of the IAAF.

He was head of the track and field teams that Canada sent to the 2001 IAAF world Championships in Edmonton and the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester.
