Dear  Officials,

 We are in the early stages of indentifying qualified Officials for the World Masters Indoor Track and Field Championships to be held in Kamloops BC, March 1 – 6, 2010.  The Host Organizing Committee has indicated its requirement for between 200 and 250 Technical Officials. 

 Please let us know if you will be available for all or a portion of the Competition. 

 We hope that most Officials will be available during the following time period:

                                Arrival in Kamloops         by noon               Saturday, February 27, 2010 (Orientation, Officials’ Meeting, Technical Meeting – Feb. 27th and 28th)

                                Departure                           no later than      Sunday, March 7, 2010

We do understand that some of you may only be available for some of the days of the competition because of work commitments.  We hope that you will consider attending for as many days as you are able.

We hope to provide Mentoring and National Level Clinics.

 All Officials selected for the Meet will be provided with meals and hotel accommodation (for those living outside of the Kamloops area).  Transportation will be provided for those Officials arriving on February 27th and departing after the close of the Competition on March 6th.  To be considered for this Meet and to receive funding (meals, accommodation, transportation and any provided clothing items), Officials must be members of BC Athletics for both years 2009 and 2010.
