Oct 30: BC Cross Country Championships - Aldergrove

Two Pen Track Athletes competed under cloudy, but good condiditons on a challenging course. Emma Mylie, F97, came 3rd in the 3000m race with a time of 13:51.72 and Kevin Brown, M93, came 4th in the Youth 5000m race with a time of 19:34.26. Full Results - PHOTOS

Sept 15 - 18: BC Senior Games - Courtenay

July 30 to Aug 1: BC Junior Development Track and Field Championships - Kamloops

July 22 to 25: BC Summer Games- Langley

July 1: Sidney Days 5km Run/Walk and 2km Youth Run

June 6 : VIAA Pentathlon - North Saanich

A dull, wet day in which 48 athletes competed in the regular pentathlon and 25 in the throws pentathlon. 23 Pen Track athletes competed, 16 in the regular pentathlon and 7 in the weight pentathlon. Revised Final Results

May 22 and 23 : Elwood Wylie Meet and Zone 6 Summer Games Trials - Nanaimo

A wet and windy weekend in which 35 athletes competed. 6 athletes were chosen for the Zone 6 Summer Games team and 2 more still have a chance to be chosen in the near future. Results -- PHOTOS

April 5 to 28 : Peninsula Track Rascals - North Saanich

Twenty one 6 to 8 year olds spent two 45 minute periods each week for four weeks learning the basics of Running, Jumping and Throwing. Thanks to Lesley Foster, Jenny Sammons, Katherine Walter and Jac Thornburgh for making this such a big success. PHOTOS
