BC Senior Games August 24 - 27, 2005, in the Cowichan Valley.

(Track is in Duncan)

"We are allowed to enter up to 30 men and 30 women for the Zone 1 Team in the Track and Field Competition of these games. The make up of the Team, has to respect the following factors:"

1. There should be appropriate representation in all areas of competition - sprints, jumps/vaults, throws, combined events, middle distance, distance running/walks. This means that no large preponderance of competitors in any one aspect of the competition (e.g. distance running/walks) may exclude participants in other parts of the competition.

2. Where possible, competitors are encouraged to participate in more than one section of the competition - e.g. sprints/jumps; throws/walks.

3. Zone 1 Trials will be held on SATURDAY MAY 21 at PARKLAND SCHOOL, SIDNEY. Not all of the events will be scheduled for that day - just a selection which will help to determine general capability in the various areas of competition. If you are not able to attend those Trials, please notify Sandy or Don Anderson at 478-5883
