CROSS COUNTRY RACE

LOCATION: Sproat Park, off Highway to Long Beach

(Uclulet/Tofino), about 10 minutes drive

from Port Alberni, about 7.5km from the grey bridge on the edge of town. Go to the Picnic area, not the boat launch area, following the signs.

REGISTRATION: 11:00 am. Pre-registration is not required.

FEES: $5.00 for BC Athletics members

$8.00 for non-members

COURSE: A course set among the trails around the park.

AWARDS: Ribbons for 1^st to 8^th place in each age category.

PARKING: The main parking lots past the boat launch turnoff; cost of parking is $3.00

Race #1: 12:00 noon start 2km +/- (1 loop)

1999, 1998, 1997, 1996, 1995 Females

Race #2: ~12:15 start 2 km +/- (1 loop)

1999, 1998, 1997, 1996, 1995 Males

Race #3: ~12:30 start 4km +/- (4km loop)

1994, 1993, 1992 Females and Males

Race #4: ~12:50 start 8km +/- (2x4km)

1991 and earlier Females and Males
