August 15 : Final Results for Island Track Series Awards
Eighteen Peninsula Track athletes competed in at least four of the six Island meets and therefore are eligible for the VIAA Best of Meet and Run, Jump, Throw awards. Results for Peninsula Athletes. Click here Complete Results for the Island.

August 5 to 12 : Legion National Track and Field Championships , Sudbury, Ontario
Thomas Riekki of Pen Track is one of 40 BC Athletes attending. At the competition for 14 and 15 year olds on August 7 and 8, Thomas came FIRST in the 100m hurdles, FOURTH in the 300m hurdles, FIFTH in the 100m and was part of the fourth place 4 x 100m relay team . Complete Results.

July 23 to 25 : BD Junior Development Track and Field Championships , Kamloops
8 Pen Track Athletes brought home 8 gold medals, 10 silver medals and 4 bronze medals. Three of them also had All Time Top Ten performances. Thomas Riekki was selected as one of the 15 BC fifteen year old athletes on the BC Team going to the Legion Camp in Sudbury. Results for Peninsula Athletes and Complete Results.

July 17 and 18: Canadian Masters Track and Field Championships , Calgary

July 15 to 18: BC Summer Games, 2004 , Abbotsford
Hot! Hot! Hot! Three days of great track and field. Peninsula Track and Field members of the Zone 6th team performed splendidly, bringing home three gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals. Results for Peninsula Athletes and Complete Results for Athletics.

July 9 to 11: Canadian National Track and Field Championships and Olympic Trials , Victoria
Three days of great track and field. Several younger JD athletes took part in a demonstration of Athletics Canada's Run, Jump, Throw program at the stadium on Saturday. Several Peninsula Track Rascals were present at the Breakfast of Champions on Monday where Canada's Olympic Track and Field Team was announced (photo).

| July 9 and 10: SportsFest for Disabled Athletes , Langley
Florence and Tom Dingle helped run and officiate at the track and field part of this competition for athletes who have cerebral palsy. Phots will be posted shortly.

July 6 and 7: Zone 6 summer Games Camp , Courtenay
Club members Romaie Martin, Thomas Riekki , Peter Root and John Minkley (new) attended along with Meghan Schaeffer, Cory Thomson and Kyle Seele, Zone 6 team members who have been training with the club. Throwing coach John Root was part of the coaching staff and Tom Dingle went as the Zone 6 representative for athletics. 43 athletes and 10 coaches had two days of hard workouts, technical sessions and fun! Most of the athletes commented on how much they had improved in their events.

June 26 and 27: BC Juvenile Championships , Abbotsford
3 Pen Track Athletes competed in a very tough field. Complete results and Pen Track Results

June 26: BC JD Pentathlon Championships , Nanaimo
8 Pen Track Athletes competed and came home with 1 gold medal, 3 silver medals, 1 bronze medal, 1 fourth place, and 2 sixth place ribbons. Complete results (these are revised from those posted at meet). Thomas Riekki and Dustin Sapala both had All Time Top Ten Placings in the Pentathlon and the Sprint Hurdles.

March 11: 1st World Masters Championships Indoors
